Transition Port Phillip
Calling all gardeners and growers, foodies, artists, musos, educators, jack-of-all-trades, organisers, young and young at heart and ....fun lovers
Transition Port Phillip's vision is to inspire and enhance connectedness and sustainable living within our vibrant and diverse bayside community.

We are part of a global network that supports community-led responses to climate change and shrinking supplies of cheap energy, building resilience and prosperity. The Transition idea developed out of Permaculture education and has gone viral around the world, from Italian villages and Brazilian favelas to universities and London neighbourhoods; with over 30 initiatives in Australia.
In contrast to the ever-worsening stream of information about climate change, the economy and resource depletion, Transition initiatives focus on creative solutions; community-scale responses; an understanding of the head, hands & heart; social connectedness and having fun.
If you’re interested in meeting like-minded folks and getting involved, or you’re already involved in local solutions, signup as a member on our groupsite and come along to an event or social gathering.
