Local Life: On Land and Below Water    

 
The 2019 Steps to Sustainability Conference will explore and showcase how schools are implementing curriculum and connecting their students to local catchments including Port Phillip Bay. Workshops and presentations will be aligned to the United Nations Sustainability Development Goals 14 Life Below Water and 15 Life on Land as well as the ResourceSmart Schools program especially Water and Biodiversity modules.

Join over 200 teachers, parents, local government officers and educators to experience a wide variety of school sustainability examples and experiences. Presenters are from schools who have recently started on their sustainability journey through to those who have been the leaders for numerous years.

This conference is suitable for all participants interested in school sustainability and the health of Port Phillip Bay who would like to learn real life experiences form other teachers and educators.

Organisers encourage you to use sustainable transport options (details on the booking page). 5-hour City of Melbourne parking is available and it will be the responsibility of the participant to move their vehicle as required.

Our event is waste wise.

 

Cost is $85 (plus GST and online booking fee). Morning tea, lunch and entry to the Zoo included in ticket.
