Changing Minds: Contemporary Women's Activism
Our Executive Officer April Seymore will be speaking at this City of Port Phillip Heritage Event.
Engage with key political and social issues, past and present and to hear from inspiring local activists working currently to make a difference. The performance will be followed by a panel of speakers who are local activists working across a range of current social and political issues. Afternoon tea included.
“Prejudice & Reason: Australian Women’s Responses to war”, a two handed performance of writings drawn from the Women’s Political Association, the Women’s Peace Army and the Australian Women’s National League created and introduced by historian, Geraldine Roberts.
