Climate Change (social research) and Passion Mashin'

Frameworks for getting colleagues on board with a movement for change in schools.
Location: St Columba's Primary School, Glen Huntly Road Elwood
Time: 4-5.30pm

Our TEN workshop in July will be facilitated by Dianna McDonald and David Speller from Sustainability Victoria ResourceSmart Schools team.

  • Dianna will be presenting the latest SV research on climate change and their TAKE2 initiative, assisting educators to build knowledge, skills and capacity so they can help their school take action on climate change.
  • David will facilitate a Passion Mashing session demonstrating how to bring teachers on board. This framework can provide a platform to build teachers' confidence when teaching Sustainability. The Passion Mashing can also help teachers become familiar with the Victorian Curriculum by combining what they are passionate about with Sustainability Organising ideas.

This session has the potential to really assist you, the passionate teacher, get others on board and find their passion for sustainability teaching.
