Details: There'll be a range of activities including stalls, delicious vegan food, talks and cooking demonstrations.
 

 

Speakers include:

 ~ Paul Mahony (ALV member and Bayside Climate Change Action Group [BCCAG]) - The enormous climate change impact of animal agriculture
   Paul discusses the inter-related issues of the sector's: inherent inefficiency; enormous scale; greenhouse gas emissions; deforestation; and, water usage. The International Energy Agency recently warned we only have five years to make "urgent and radical policy changes" in order to avoid catastrophic runaway climate change. Without addressing the issue of animal agriculture in conjunction with other essential measures, we will not succeed; it's as simple as that.
