Port Phillip Urban Fresh Food Network (PPUFFN)

PPUFFN connects people throughout Port Phillip who want to grow, access, cook, save and share affordable fresh food.

From edible balconies to food and garden swaps; from community kitchens to community gardens, PPUFFN represents a wide range of interests across the food spectrum.

Want to find out about joining your nearest community garden? You can download a list of Local  Edible Gardens right here (updated Dec 2011)

A local food security initiative and winner of the 2008 Civic Project of the Year, the PPUFFN Network itself consists of residents, community groups and businesses, all of whom share a common desire to make Port Phillip more edible!

The cornerstone of the PPUFFN Network is its quarterly program of popular events and forums, such as 2010's 'World Food Day at the EcoCentre'  Festival and the 'Eat Your Balcony' winter workshop series. The next PPUFFN event is a veggie growers competition on 11 February 2012. See the EcoCentre's Events Calendar for full details.

Membership of the PPUFFN Network is free and includes subscription to a regular e-mail news bulletin, keeping you up-to-date with all of the community food and gardening action around the Port Phillip area.
