Consuelo Quevedo

Consuelo’s professional background reflects her passion for the great outdoors and facilitating experiences that connect people with nature. She is experienced in conducting ecological monitoring, science communication, and environmental education projects on a variety of topics. Consuelo has maintained a deep connection with the natural environment from a very young age. Driven this curiosity, she has undertaken Bachelor and Honours degrees in Conservation Biology in Chile.

Towards the end of her studies, Consuelo’s fascination with the natural world began to expand and deepen.  Motivated by a desire to increase environmental awareness and share the wonders of nature with others, Consuelo has pursued a path of environmental education and recently completed a Master’s degree in Environment at the University of Melbourne. She loves being in the forest and the sea and is enthusiastic about conserving biodiversity and sharing nature with others.

The EcoCentre acknowledges the Kulin Nations, including the Yalukut Weelam clan of the Boon Wurrung language group, traditional owners of the land on which we are located.

We pay respects to their Elders past and present, and extend that respect to other Aboriginal and Elder members of our multicultural community.
