Discover the diverse wildlife and play an active role in conserving Sandringham Beach by joining our Beachkeepers Fauna Survey and Habitat Restoration event. This hands-on experience will allow you to observe and document local flora and fauna while also restoring vital habitats through litter collection revegetation activities.
Guided by our conservation team, attendees will learn about the importance of biodiversity and the essential role coastal ecosystems play in maintaining environmental health. Whether removing litter that threatens wildlife or removing invasive plant species that threaten our local ecosystem, your efforts will help sustain the beauty and ecological balance of Sandringham Beach.
Dress for the weather, and don’t forget to bring a hat, sunscreen, and a reusable water bottle. All tools and equipment will be provided, but bringing your own garden gloves is encouraged. Your contribution is invaluable to maintaining the biodiversity and resilience of Sandringham Beach.
We look forward to having you with us for this impactful day of environmental stewardship! We would like to acknowledge the project support provided by the Victorian Government through the Port Phillip Bay Fund.
