Betsabe Ortiz

Betsabe is a multifaceted Chilean designer who works across design thinking, strategic design, system thinking and technology. Motivated to preserve the environment and build resilience for climate change, she is dedicated to solving environmental and social issues from a design and innovation perspective. This passion has seen her work in not-for-profit, government and educational institutions over the last decade. Betsabe understands that collaboration is key for developing impactful environmental and social outcomes. Trained as a group facilitator, she finds ways to build bridges between diverse stakeholders and cross-cultural communities via visual communication and graphic facilitation.

The EcoCentre acknowledges the Kulin Nations, including the Yalukut Weelam clan of the Boon Wurrung language group, traditional owners of the land on which we are located.

We pay respects to their Elders past and present, and extend that respect to other Aboriginal and Elder members of our multicultural community.
