RSVP: Term 4 Teacher Environment Network

Free, In-person session
Tuesday 29 November, 4pm-5.30pm

St Kilda Park Primary School

Now spring has sprung, come along to our next Teacher Environment Network session to enjoy a tour of St Kilda Park Primary School’s gardens!

School grounds can provide vital spaces for increasing biodiversity in our urban environment, as well as enriching student learning and wellbeing. Come learn about the ways in which SKPPS  are utilising their grounds as an outdoor classroom, engaging students with activities to promote local biodiversity and facilitate connection to the natural world, as well as teach sustainable gardening and healthy eating.

This TEN will include a tour of the school's indigenous garden, pollinator hotels, water-saving wicking beds, compost and Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden. We will then share a range of ready-to-use curriculum activities with you, including a biodiversity audit, designed to engage students and build their knowledge on these topics.

Come along and enjoy an inspiring afternoon and chance to connect and share with like-minded teachers passionate about our environment. Afternoon tea, including tea, coffee and cake will be provided!

We also have an exciting give away for this session, with all attendees going into the running to win a Pollinator Hotel for their school!
