Join us for the next instalment of our Wetlands and Wildlife series, presented in partnership with Melbourne Water. We invite you to be part of this exciting event, where we will explore the wonders of wetlands and their vital role in our landscape.

Wetlands are extraordinary ecosystems that rival rainforests and coral reefs in terms of productivity and importance. They offer a multitude of benefits to our community and the environment. By attending this event, you'll discover how wetlands enhance water quality, support diverse wildlife habitats, provide fish populations, regulate floodwaters, and maintain surface water flow during dry periods. Unfortunately, street litter and pollution poses a significant threat to the health of our waterways.

Together, we can combat this issue and make a positive impact on nature. At our Wetlands and Wildlife event, we will delve into practical ways our community can address this challenge. By participating, you'll gain valuable insights on how to protect and restore the health of our waterways. This event is all about community, connection, and conservation. We warmly welcome families and individuals of all ages to join us for a day filled with fun and learning.

Thanks to the generous support of Melbourne Water, this event is entirely free and accessible to everyone. Mark your calendars for Saturday, 3rd June, from 10am to 12pm, as we gather at the picturesque Yalukit Willam Nature Reserve. This serene location provides the perfect backdrop to connect with waterways and deepen our understanding of wetland ecosystems.

Be prepared for an engaging and educational experience that will inspire you to become a steward of our precious natural resources. Don't miss out on this opportunity to celebrate the beauty and importance of wetlands. Join us at the Wetlands and Wildlife event and together, let's make a positive difference in the health of our waterways.
