Survey flora and fauna with us for our citizen science biodiversity project!

The EcoCentre is partnering with City of Port Phillip to bring you ‘NatureSpot’ — an exciting chance for you to be part of collecting important information about the creatures and plants that call our City home.

At this event, you will be surveying wildlife as a citizen scientist to record biodiversity data that will be used to create wildlife corridors so that animals can move around safely, have the right things to eat, and the right types of shelter.

This is one of the 6 public surveys taken place on the Summer NatureSpot week between 18 to 24 January 2020. Come along to a NatureSpot event to learn from local amateur naturalists how to record data and contribute your own sightings.

The program is co-funded by a Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning Caring for Our Local Environment Grant.
