Come along for a citizen science biodiversity survey!

NatureSpot is calling for the community to help us create a comprehensive species dataset for inner-south Melbourne. Learn what plants and animals live in our city, get observation tips and discover how you can contribute to enhance urban biodiversity.

No prior knowledge required, just bring a phone or camera and curiosity! Family friendly and suitable for all ages.

This is one of the 8 public survey events taking place during the NatureSpot Early Winter Surveys (1-31 May 2021). You can also contribute your own nature sightings online anytime on our NatureSpot map (website will open for submission in late-April).

Places are limited, so book in early!

The EcoCentre acknowledges the Kulin Nations, including the Yalukit Willam clan of the Boon Wurrung language group, traditional custodians of the land on which we are located.

We pay respects to their Elders past and present, and extend that respect to other First Nations and Elder members of our multicultural community.
