Join the EcoCentre for a free workshop for women to celebrate sustainable food practices from different cultures. Learn about Indigenous Australian edible plants, explore eco-friendly gardening practices, and learn how we can all play a part to reduce food waste and pollution.

This event is part of the EcoCentre's Multicultural Bay Ambassadors program, a four month volunteer internship program for emerging professionals interested in sustainability education and engaging with CALD (culturally and linguistically diverse) communities. Ambassadors develop inclusive events for Melbourne's culturally diverse communities, with the aim to introduce the beautiful bay marine life and encourage actions to care for the bay.

The EcoCentre acknowledges the Kulin Nations, including the Yalukit Willam clan of the Boon Wurrung language group, traditional custodians of the land on which we are located.

We pay respects to their Elders past and present, and extend that respect to other First Nations and Elder members of our multicultural community.
