Be trained by EcoCentre educators and ERM scientists in citizen science experiences.

This teacher professional development aims to connect women to their local environment, empowering them to deliver hands-on STEAM activities with a local marine theme to enable girls and women to take local action.

You'll be trained in the following citizen science experiences:

  • Little Penguin habitat restoration including sea grasses, propagation of nesting material, and sand re-nourishment on St Kilda Pier
  • Shoreline shell surveys to monitor changes in shell development relating to CO2 concentrations in Port Phillip Bay
  • Litter auditing and action planning

The first 7 female teachers to register and attend will receive a wildlife adventure sightseeing voucher thanks to Moonraker Dolphin Swims.
