Divestment is all about ensuring your money is not supporting projects and industries that harm our planet. Join us for this free online discussion with industry experts to help you make smart choices on divesting for our climate.

The Port Phillip EcoCentre is proud to present this climate action webinar on divestment.

Join the discussion and Q&A with special guest speakers and industry professionals. Industry experts (Ethical Investments and Market Forces) will outline divestment strategies and its effectiveness, and local community panellists will talk about their personal divestment journeys. Uncover how to ensure your savings, superannuation, mortgage, bank, insurance and your share portfolio can all be used as a force of good.

Panellists:

Adam Carey, Financial Planner, Ethical Investments

Adam has a Master's degree in Financial Planning, an MBA and a science degree. He specialises in social responsible investment. His 30 year career includes financial planning, investment banking, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and water and environmental consultancy.

Kyle Robertson, Australia Banks Campaigner and Researcher, Market Forces

Kyle's role is to analyse and track the big four Australian bank’s ongoing financing of the fossil fuel industry and new fossil fuel projects and campaign to make them stop, through demanding policy change to align with the bank’s stated climate commitments.

Josh Solomonsz
