Are you a young person aged between 12 and 25 who live, work or play in the City of Port Phillip?

The 2 hour 'pre historic St Kilda' activity gives you an opportunity to literally unearth the past. With the guidance of palaeontologist, Ben Francischelli, you will participate in a staged dig, searching for actual fossilised teeth and bones from the Giant Meagafauna that once swam in the area we call Port Phillip Bay millions of years ago.

Our walking journey will also incorporate the Indigenous culture and stories of the Boon Wurrung people, which we will share on our walk from the 400 year old Ngargee tree, through the parkland to the southern end of Albert Park Lake. Lemon Myrtle tea supplied!

If you don't know the full story of ancient St Kilda, walk with Ben and Belinda, have fun and get up close and personal with our amazing ancient past. It's all FREE!

This event is part of the Alive Outside project provided in partnership with the City of Port Phillip.
