The Port Phillip EcoCentre is holding our Annual General Meeting on Sunday 18th October 2020, commencing at 2:00 pm, held virtually over Zoom.

After the short AGM, there will be presentations highlighting the activities of the EcoCentre, and naturethemed conversations in Zoom breakout rooms.

You will be most welcome to join us and see firsthand the way we collaborate to deliver our vision: “An empowered community actively cultivating long-term environmental wellbeing.”

The Port Phillip EcoCentre is a leading community-managed organisation with a dedicated team of scientists, educators and volunteers who design and implement innovative environmental programs. Our expertise is Port Phillip Bay health and the urban ecology of Greater Melbourne, within the traditional lands and waters of the Kulin Nation.

Join us 18 October to celebrate community-led action with the EcoCentre and our network of partners from business, government, philanthropy, education and research institutions reaching across 160+ suburbs. Our collective impact since 1999 has transformed the way Melbourne understands wildlife, waterways and wellbeing in the age of climate change. We do hope you will be able to take this opportunity to hear impact stories from our past year, and plans for the year ahead.

Please RSVP here by Monday 13th October.

Non-members or lapsed members can join as a member before the meeting for the right to vote and stand for election. Lifetime membership is complimentary with no set membership fees; members are encouraged to choose any level of contribution to contribute to our mission.

We are calling for nominations of candidates for election as officers and these can be made on the Committee. Download a nomination form HERE. They must reach the Secretary no less than seven days before the meeting and can emailed to secretary@ecocentre.com

Yours sincerely,
Jan Cossar
Acting Secretary
