Act_CommunityCoastalRevegetation04

Join the EcoCentre cleaning up our local St Kilda neighbourhood, while collecting additional data on microplastics (which can often be overlooked during clean-ups).  We will make our way from the Port Phillip EcoCentre to the Beach, and playing our part to keep our streets litter free.

After picking up litter, we will sort & count it to identify key problem items. The data we help will inform the Baykeeper, scientists, decision-makers and community to help prevent pollutants at the source.

Be prepared: This is an outdoor activity that involves walking, bending and weather exposure. Please dress for the day’s weather and choose suitable footwear. BYO drink bottle. We will have safety wear but feel free to BYO gloves if you have them.

Meeting Point: Cora Graves, 38 Blessington St, St Kilda (across from previous EcoCentre location)
