Join us in celebrating a historic milestone as we embark on the next chapter of the EcoCentre's journey towards its redevelopment.
We are excited to invite all our volunteers and community members to a special lunch event on Friday, 19th May from 12pm-2pm at our Cora Graves site, during National Volunteer Week.
The ‘turning of the soil’ ceremony took place on 20th April with the Hon. Lily D'Ambrosio, Minister for Climate Action, Nina Taylor MP, Member for Albert Park, Mayor Heather Cunsolo, City of Port Phillip, and EcoCentre President Pam O'Neil. The ceremony symbolised the commencement of construction, and now we are ready to celebrate this momentous occasion together. The EcoCentre redevelopment has been made possible through the tireless efforts of state and local governments, community groups, and our dedicated staff, committee, and volunteers.
We invite you to join EcoCentre President Pam O'Neil and the team for a joyous celebration of this achievement. The event promises to be filled with great food, good company, and an opportunity to learn more about the redevelopment plans.
All EcoCentre Volunteers and Community Members are welcome, and we encourage past volunteers and members to reconnect with us for this special occasion. To register for the event, please visit the link below. If you have any questions or need further information, please do not hesitate to contact us. We are counting down the days and looking forward to celebrating with you!
