Join the EcoCentre cleaning up Bay Street Port Melbourne, while collecting additional data on microplastics (which can often be overlooked during clean-ups). After picking up litter, we will sort & count it to identify key problem items.
The data we help will inform the Baykeeper, scientists, decision-makers and community to help prevent pollutants at the source. And on Clean Up Australia Day, you'll know that thousands of others are all helping their local patch at the same time as we do.
Be prepared: This is an outdoor activity that involves walking, bending and weather exposure. Please dress for the day's weather and choose suitable footwear. BYO drink bottle. We will have safety wear but feel free to BYO gloves if you have them.
