Come to a guided walk and learn about this multifunctional project where biodiversity and human well-being thrive.

The Elsternwick Park golf course was converted into the Yalukit Willam Nature Reserve, an environmental park that delivers significant environmental and social benefits for the community, repairing and enhancing ecologies, habitat, and traditional connections.

The Yalukit Willam Nature Association (YWNA) is a community group with stewardship to create the wetland reserve. They run several volunteer activities to foster biodiversity and wildlife. They will take us for a 1 hour guided tour to learn about the reserve values and their journey in caring for this place.

Participants of all ages are welcome to come! Language support is available in Spanish. Please let us know if you need support in other languages in the registration form.

Remember to be SunSmart, and bring a hat, sunscreen, reusable water bottle, and sunglasses if needed.

Come to learn about this pioneering project!
