The EcoCentre Annual General Meeting 2024 will be held in person at Cora Graves Centre (38 Blessington St, St Kilda) on Wednesday 20 November with light refreshments served.
At the AGM, members will have the opportunity to:
- Hear a report on the outcomes of the past financial year (2023/24) and ask questions
- Vote on a Special Resolution to modernise the EcoCentre Constitution (Read the memo, the current Constitution and draft revised Constitution)
- Elect officers and members of the Committee of Management for 2024/25
- Approve last year’s AGM Minutes (Read EcoCentre AGM 2023 Unconfirmed Minutes)
After the short AGM, we will share snapshots of the EcoCentre’s work and plans for launching the new community hub in 2025, and share vegetarian refreshments and drinks.
Nominations. We are calling for nominations of candidates for Committee of Management. Download a nomination form HERE. Nominations must reach the Secretary by 13 November 2024 and should be emailed to secretary@ecocentre.com. Please contact us for further information or guidance.
Membership. Non-members of the EcoCentre can join up before the meeting. Membership is complimentary with no set fees; members are encouraged to choose any level of voluntary donation to contribute to EcoCentre programs: ecocentre.com/donate
Proxy voting. Should you be unable to attend the AGM, each Individual member is entitled to appoint another member as a proxy, by notice given to the Secretary no later than 24 hours before the time of the meeting. Please email the Secretary to request proxy forms.
