Explore the unique biodiversity of Brighton Beach by taking part in our Beachkeepers Fauna Survey and Revegetation event.
This hands-on experience offers the chance to observe and document a range of local flora and fauna. From grasses to trees and from invertebrates to bird species, your support will contribute to a valuable conservation effort.
Volunteers will join in important coastal habitat restoration activities, such as litter collection, weeding, planting, and propagating native plants. These efforts will enhance the coastal ecosystem, providing improved habitats for local wildlife and ensuring a healthier beach environment.
Guided by our experienced team, you will learn about the importance of biodiversity and how these actions contribute to maintaining the health of our ecosystems. This event is perfect for anyone passionate about wildlife, conservation, and making a difference in their community.
Dress for the weather and bring along a hat, sunscreen, and a reusable water bottle. All tools and equipment will be provided, though you’re welcome and encouraged to bring your own garden gloves.
Your participation not only supports the environment but also helps monitor the health of the local fauna and flora.
We look forward to having you with us for this meaningful conservation experience! We would like to acknowledge the project support provided by the Victorian Government through the Port Phillip Bay Fund.
