Yalukit Willam Nature Reserve (Corner New St and Glen Huntly Rd)
Come along and celebrate the end of term with this interactive session at the Yalukit Willam Nature Reserve, a former golf course now being transformed into an urban nature oasis. Come and explore ways we can engage students in citizen science and conservation activities both in the local community and at school.
The session will include:
- Tour of the reserve with local naturalists learning about its various design features for habitat restoration
- Explore resources and citizen science tools to foster learning and engage your students in local conservation activities
As always, there will be tea, coffee and delicious Monarch cake!
Participating teachers will also receive a certificate of professional learning linked to the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.
