Free, In-person session
Wednesday 15 November, 4-5.30pm
Port Phillip EcoCentre
38 Blessington St, St Kilda
Join our next Teachers’ Environment Network meeting and participate in a range of hands-on waste-focused education activities to take back into your classroom!
Together, we will explore activities related to the lifecycle of products from resource use, to production, through to consumption and disposal, as well as the huge challenge of microplastics in our waterways.
You will learn how to conduct microplastics litter audits with your students using the citizen science method designed by the EcoCentre. This method was used to collect data for our Clean Bay Blue Print Report.
As always, there will be opportunity to connect with other teachers as well as coffee, tea and delicious cake!
