Thursday 20 February, 4pm to 5.30pm
Port Melbourne Primary School
Free to attend
Come along to our first Teachers’ Environment Network session of the year where we will hear from Port Melbourne Primary School about how they’re integrating sustainability into their school curriculum, culture and grounds. In the past 3 years, through the help of both family and community volunteers, the school has created a kitchen garden and biodiversity pollinator corridor. In recognition of this work, the school received the School Volunteer of the Year Award at the 2024 ResourceSmart Schools Awards.
The session will include a tour of the school to ask questions, share knowledge, ideas and resources.
As always there will be delicioius tea, coffee and Monarch’s famous cakes!
Teachers will also receive a certificate of learning for VIT registration renewal.
