Weekly 2021 EcoCentre community garden working bees.

The EcoCentre resumed hosting weekly community garden working bees from January 2021. In order to maintain the safety of our volunteers, staff and the community, working bees will now be broken up into morning and afternoon sessions from 10am – 12pm (morning) and 1pm – 3pm (afternoon) on Fridays, with a maximum of 15 volunteers at each session. Volunteers can only register for ONE session per day (i.e. morning OR afternoon).

Working bees will include 90 minutes of gardening activities followed by a 30 minute social morning or afternoon tea. On the last Friday of each month, our afternoon session will be held at our new Salvation Army Youth Servies community garden site.

All volunteers must bring along a personal drinking water bottle, hat, gloves, gardening tools (if possible) and a face mask to utilse where social distancing is not possible.

Bookings will close two days prior.

**For the safety of our group, if you are feeling unwell on the day, you must stay home.**

Important: All volunteers must have completed a volunteer induction in the last 12 months and hold a valid Working with Children Check. In the event that this session needs to be cancelled or postponed, we will email you between 9am – 9.30am on the day of your booking.
