Beachkeepers of the Tea Tree (Summer Series)

The Beachkeepers of the Tea Tree celebrates community, connection and conservation, nestled in a beautiful setting beside the sand and sea. There is a delicate ecology of trees, shrubs and plants that inhabit this area, and your help is needed to protect them from the growth of invasive species.

Our work encourages the habitat of small birds and enhances the biodiversity of this pre-colonial remnant vegetation site.  This initiative is a special way for the Beachkeepers of the Tea Tree to weave ourselves into the history, present and future of this precious pocket of land.

Join in the fun at this all ages, family friendly and accessible event where laughter and learning can be shared by all. Witness the impact we can all make for the benefit of our local environment.

The EcoCentre acknowledges the Kulin Nations, including the Yalukut Weelam clan of the Boon Wurrung language group, traditional owners of the land on which we are located.

We pay respects to their Elders past and present, and extend that respect to other Aboriginal and Elder members of our multicultural community.
