Port Melbourne Dune Vegetation Survey
The aim of this activity is to begin to collect data recording native dune plant species growing on Port Phillip foreshore; and the elevation above sea level that they occur in. The overall study will provide an opportunity to observe the spatial relationship between different plant species and their habitat and the direct impact of climate change. Information gathered will help the Port Phillip Baykeeper understand the ecology and environmental impacts on our Bay.
