Job Vacancies

We are seeking a scientist to join our team! You will develop and deliver evidence-based environmental programs and projects, with a portfolio emphasis on citizen science, science communications, volunteer engagement, and cross-sectoral collaboration for environmental health outcomes. 

The Project Manager will write grant applications, develop partnerships and resources for environmental education, action and volunteering. You will also take the lead to deliver trainings, workshops and citizen science studies including on beaches, in parks and at partner locations around Greater Melbourne. This role is on our Impact Team, using science, advocacy and partnerships to better understand and act on a range of environmental issues. You will closely with our Impact Team Leader and the Port Phillip Baykeeper on projects and advocating to government. You will also apply your science and community engagement experience to collaborate with the Executive Officer and partners on imagining, designing, fundraising and programming for our future citizen science lab.

This role is 0.6 FTE with a salary of approximately $89,600 pro rata. You will work from a range of locations (including our office/community hub and fieldwork).
