Alive Outside

About the Program

Our free ‘Alive Outside’ program was tailored for 12 to 25 year olds who would love to explore and help nature in Port Phillip Bay, local parks and the St Kilda Foreshore.

This program was designed to allow for exploration of local places and wildlife, while fostering regenerative action for our local environment. These sessions saw participants walk, cycle and snorkel around the beaches, foreshore and reserves within the City of Port Phillip.

Public sessions were made available for participants to register to, in addition to bespoke events, hosted for specific groups (schools, youth groups, guides or scouts).

Alive Outside was provided in partnership with City of Port Phillip.

The EcoCentre acknowledges the Kulin Nations, including the Yalukit Willam clan of the Boon Wurrung language group, traditional custodians of the land on which we are located.

We pay respects to their Elders past and present, and extend that respect to other First Nations and Elder members of our multicultural community.
