Students will learn about the need for construction of artificial nest boxes and bat tubes to preserve and enhance urban biodiversity and learn how to design nest boxes and bat tubes to cater for the specific needs.

• Why do some birds and animals need our help with nesting and housing?
• What are the best designs for particular species?

They also learn about how we can help these species by designing and building boxes and tubes for them. They will learn about the importance of catering to the specific needs of individual species.

The Q&A session following the video will allow students to further explore and investigate this topic.
