School Sustainability Festival

The School Sustainability Festival is an annual event organised by the Port Phillip EcoCentre to provide local schools and their communities an opportunity to celebrate and acknowledge their environmental and student leadership achievements within City of Port Phillip (CoPP), Bayside City Council (BCC) and beyond.

Now in its 17th year, the School Sustainability Festival is Victoria’s longest running school sustainability festival celebrating and empowering student leadership for our environment.

After two years of running this event online, we are excited to announce the return to an in-person celebration at the St Kilda Town Hall and EcoCentre on September 1, 2022.

Please fill in the form below to register for this event!

Thank you EcoCentre for another great online Schools Sustainability Festival! The presentations just get better and better each year. You guys rock

We were so excited to be part of this holistic, community based event. It was an exceptional opportunity for our students! The technical support was outstanding and the one to one support on the day and prior to the event was superb

Expressions of Interest

Please note, we are now at capacity for schools in the City of Port Phillip and Bayside City Council. We have limited places remaining for schools in the City of Stonnington.

We encourage schools to present as part of the Kids Teaching Kids model of the festival.

The EcoCentre acknowledges the Kulin Nations, including the Yalukut Weelam clan of the Boon Wurrung language group, traditional owners of the land on which we are located.

We pay respects to their Elders past and present, and extend that respect to other Aboriginal and Elder members of our multicultural community.
